1. The photos of those animals were very well shot. The photos were very interesting and it is something that are very uncommonly shot that close and that well. Brandt uses black and white photography which makes the picture look better in my opinion and old fashioned which adds that aspect to the picture.

3. I chose this picture because it has the lion as the main subject and also the weather in the background which adds to the quality of the photo.
4. The rule of composition presented in the photo is simplicity as the lion is the only subject in the photo. Simplicity means that there is one single subject in the photo and that the photo has one thing that grabs your attention.
5. Brandt uses a Pentax 67II with two fixed lenses because he wants to get up close with the animals to capture the whole picture.
6. Brandt decides to take these photos because he wants to preserve the life of animals that are on the verge of extinction by man.
7. Brandt's hope is to express his love for animals.
8. Few photographers have ever considered the photography of wild animals, as distinctly opposed to the genre of Wildlife Photography, as an art form. The emphasis has generally been on capturing the drama of wild animals IN ACTION, on capturing that dramatic single moment, as opposed to simply animals in the state of being.
9. Brandt's newest focus is to help fund Big Life.
10. Brandt selected unpublished photos from that period, printed them in California, shipped them to Kenya, constructed their steel and plywood frames on location, and positioned them so they seemed part of the physical surroundings.
11. That it makes people realize that they should take more care of animals and not harm them.
12. Some of the pictures made me sad because of the ruin of some places and that it is ruining the world and the animals cannot do anything about it.
