9/11 Photo Technique Compostion


#1: Simplicity
In this photo I think it is a good example of simplicity because the man is the subject of the photo and is the only one in focus. He also stands out from the picture because of the color of his face.

There is something about this man's dust-covered suit and general demeanour which makes this an unforgettable image.







#2: Rule of Thirds
In this photo the main subject of the picture is the Empire State Building, but also the smoke which somewhat fall in line with the rule of thirds because of their placement in the photo.



#3: : Lines
This photograph is a good example of lines because of the lines running down the tower and symmetry that it displays.


#4: Balance
In this picture it shows balance because of the two towers identically blowing smoke out of the tower and are somewhat symmetrical from their placement in the photo.


#5: Framing
This picture shows framing because of the outline of the tower framing the picture of the fireman climbing up the ladder.



#6: Avoiding Mergers
This picture is an example of a merger because the yellow dust on the lady blends in with the background and floor.
